  12. TRMPTEL.EXE can do port numbers.  Just use address:port# format.  ie
  13.        anwhere.edu:25

  37. Just made this unfortunate discovery, a caveat for those considering this 
  38. route... Distinct's Visual Edition controls for developing Winsocket 
  39. Applications require additional components at runtime besides the VBXes. For 
  40. a "generic" Winsocket exe you will also need to distribute with your 
  41. application the DISTINCT.DLL and GHOST.EXE. They are asking $100 to distribute 
  42. the first copy with a sliding scale down to around $50 apiece for 50 copies, 
  43. etc.

  45. There also seem to be strange incompatabilities with their libraries and the 
  46. winsock.dll implementation of other vendors, only LAN Workplace is supported 
  47. with their ICMP options, the FTP libraries don't work with FTP Inc. What else 
  48. I wonder (and I've just had it for 3 hours)?
